Welcome to the International Multigrid Conference, which will be held on August 22-26, 2022 in Lugano, Switzerland! The conference provides a forum for researchers to present and discuss recent research in multigrid, multilevel and multiscale methods. Previous conferences known as European Multigrid Conference (EMG) were held in Cologne (1981, 1985), Bonn (1990), Amsterdam (1993), Stuttgart (1996), Gent (1999), Hohenwart (2002), Scheveningen (2005), Bad Herrenalb (2008), Ischia (2010), Schwetzingen (2012), Leuven (2014), Bruchsal (2016) and Kumming (2019).
Location of USI's Campus in Lugano
The conference will take place in the beautiful city of Lugano. Lugano is the largest city in the canton of Ticino and the third financial centre in Switzerland. The city is located in the south of Switzerland and lies on Lake Lugano. The conference will be at the campus of USI. Travelling to Lugano is convenient with direct flights to nearby Milano-Malpensa airport and Zürich airport.
